Ignacy Bieniek (1925-1993), painter, printmaker and art conservator. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Radnicki, Fedkowicz, Gotlib and Pronaszko. After graduation, he took a job at the Monuments Conservation Workshop in Warsaw. He participated in the work of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, and was one of the founders of the "Beskid" art group. He actively participated in numerous exhibitions and artistic events throughout Poland. His painting is characterized by a sense of color, expression, spontaneity, sensitivity to manifestations of folklore.
