Born in 1945 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 1971 graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, in the studio of Professor Jacek Zulawski.
From 1975 to 1985, he worked as a set designer and graphic designer at Polish Television in Warsaw, on Woronicza Street. In 1985, he moved to New York, where he worked at the Andre Kolb Gallery and the Ehrenkratz and Ectat Architecture Company Design Office. During this time, he also participated in organizing the first Polish television program in the United States, the Polish Television Network.
From 2001 to 2007 he moved to California, where he worked with a group of painters in Venice Beach in Los Angeles. After returning to Poland, he is involved in interior design and works with auction houses, exhibiting his paintings.
