Biography
She graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, from the Department of Graphic Arts in the Book Design Studio under Assistant Professor Dorota Ogonowska (2007–2010). She continued her studies at the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Leszek Misiak (2008–2011). She also studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 2014 she defended her diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak. Her graduation works, titled “Australian Fairy Tales” and inspired by a three-month trip to Australia, were selected for the National Competition “Best Graduation Works of 2014” in Gdańsk in the field of easel painting. Her art tells stories inspired by dreams and literature, and above all by themes from the world around us: people, nature, and animals. She does not focus on a single theme or subject; instead, she addresses both significant and seemingly minor topics. She has been deaf since birth. Since 2012, she has regularly participated in group and solo exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). Her works are included in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad. Her recent achievements include an honorable mention in the international Kyla Artist Prize 2023 competition and the Artio Gallery Art Award in New York.
