Michał Spryszyński
Born in Lublin in 1987.
In 2010, he received his diploma from the Lublin School of Art and Design in the field of Painting and Gilding Techniques. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at UMCS in Lublin. In 2014, he earned his bachelor’s degree under the guidance of Dr. Jakub Ciężki.
He works in painting and airbrushing, and less frequently in drawing.
His works have been featured, among others, in group exhibitions such as:
Young Art Forum at the Biała Gallery in the Lublin Cultural Center (2013)
“Shock, Shock… and Disbelief” at the LSM Cultural Center in Lublin (2013)
Exhibition of works by students of the UMCS Institute of Art,
ACK UMCS “Chatka Żaka” in Lublin (2013);
The “Behance” Review in Lublin, during which he received an honorable mention (2016).
He has also presented his paintings at solo exhibitions, including:
"When Demons Sleep, Reason Awakens" at PUB KULTURA in Rzeszów (2017)
"Painting" at the Gallery Under the Town Hall in Głogów Małopolski (2017)
"Imago" at the RCKP in Krosno (2019)
"What About Values" at the Zajezdnia History Center in Wrocław
His works are held in private collections in Poland, Belgium, and the United States.
He draws strong inspiration from the works of Surrealist artists and street art, as well as contemporary forms of painting, which provide the backdrop and context for his works. In his art, he focuses primarily on color and subject matter, which he draws mainly from the surreal world around him.
His inspirations often include dreams, surrealism, and paradoxes. He also draws inspiration from nature, the elements, and the surrounding micro- and macrocosms.
