Born in 1952. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He also completed postgraduate studies at the State Higher School of Theater in Warsaw at the Department of Puppet Theater Direction in Bialystok.
He is the author of stage designs for numerous children's plays produced at State Puppet Theaters, including those in Gdansk, Poznan, Lublin, Będzin and Bielsko-Biała, as well as at the Radom Theater.
In recent years, he has been concentrating on painting - his paintings feature fairy tale characters and situations taken from theatrical performances, for which he previously created set designs.
For many years he was involved in printmaking, with a particular focus on color woodcuts. The subject matter of these works was often a female portrait - a juxtaposition of two faces, two personalities - a dialogue or conflict expressed using economical graphic means.
