Biography
Artist from Lodz, graduate of German philology at the University of Lodz and post-graduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz for the creation of painting and drawing works.
She creates mainly in acrylic technique, developing a visual language balancing between realism and symbolism. Her works combine motifs of nature and figuration, focusing on what is hidden under the surface. The compositions are characterized by economy of form, subtle minimalism and expressive handling of light and shadow. The artist is interested in the unspeakable - areas of understatement that carry the greatest load of meaning. Her paintings avoid literalism, leaving space for individual interpretation and reflection. The tension, shadow and sometimes anxiety present in them are not destructive, but are an invitation to look carefully at emotions usually relegated to the margins of consciousness. Her paintings are in private collections in Poland, Germany, Norway, Belgium and Slovenia.
