A pair of rectangular cufflinks with a minimalist, geometric design. The fronts are decorated with a dense pattern of parallel, horizontal grooves. The darkened grooves emphasize the rhythm of the ornament and contrast with the polished, raised sections.
The clasps are movable, with a curved connector and a swiveling crossbar. The set includes the original Warmet paper tag, which provides additional confirmation of the item’s authenticity.
Condition: as shown in the photos.
Warmet—a famous Warsaw-based manufacturer with branches throughout Poland. It was established as a result of the nationalization of private enterprises in 1951 and their subsequent reorganization, including into the Jewelry Manufacturing Plant. It has been known by its current name since 1969, when the Jewelry Manufactory (from which the famous “trzcinka” —Warmet’s trademark consisting of the letters WWJ)—was renamed the “Warmet” Precious Metals Products Factory. In the 1970s, as the factory expanded and demand for its products grew, branches were established throughout Poland, including “Biamet” in Białystok, “Resovia” in Rzeszów, “Agat” in Kłodzko, “Agmet” in Częstochowa, and “Jantar” in Sopot.
