Biography
Studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz in 1967-74. Diploma from the Faculty of Textile in 1973 and from the Faculty of Graphic Arts in 1974. Currently a professor at the Wł. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. He leads the Sculpture Studio at the Faculty of Visual Arts, creating a program in which unusual and experimental student works are created in addition to traditional sculptural realizations. In the 1970s and 1980s, he practiced drawing and painting, which he replaced in the 1990s with the creation of three-dimensional works.He combines found old objects with new materials and, using contemporary technologies, builds symbolic objects and constructs multi-element installations.
