Artist and owner of the AS Ćmielów Porcelain Factory, which he has run since 1991. He is the author of many designs of porcelain figurines for the manufactory. The "Beautiful Monkeys of Europe" collection was launched in 2004. As the artist himself explains: "it is the result of [...] many years of searching for such a sculptural and painting theme that would not divide, but unite all of Europe - all 47 countries." By 2011, 47 hand-painted paintings on porcelain were created in the ćmiel factory, with monkeys as the main characters. The premiere of the entire collection of "Beautiful Monkeys of Europe" paintings took place at the National Museum in Hanoi and was connected with the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2011. In 2015, the artist decided to transfer the painted series to another medium - sculpture. Over the course of three years, the heads of 47 monkeys were cast in bronze based on patterns from porcelain paintings. The finished works were placed on specially prepared concrete pedestals with porcelain plaques (containing information about the "given monkey").
