RRR-, 2 zlote 2008 DESTRUKT, ONE COLOR (resembles a proof)

An extremely rare type of 2-złoty coin blanks. A hole was punched centrally in the outer ring; the center was not then punched out, and this ring was subsequently placed under the die, where a coin was correctly struck, resembling a trial strike in a different metal. The central hole shrank significantly under the pressure of the press, which is particularly visible on the obverse side. A coin virtually never seen on the market. Most 2-złoty blanks found on the market are coins with a centrally punched hole into which the inner disc was poorly fitted. Excellent condition.
