1 grosz 1939 from the General Government, a zinc coin from the period of German occupation. Although the coin bears the date 1939, it was actually struck between 1941 and 1944 and entered circulation on December 17, 1941.
This piece has been graded MS 63 by NGC.
The obverse features a non-uniform coloration, with naturally intermingling lighter and darker areas of the surface. The reverse is rendered in a decidedly darker tone. The coin shows no visible corrosion spots, with well-preserved detail and a very good overall appearance.
A must-have for collectors of General Government coins graded by NGC.
