A rare Vilnius old-print from the mid-17th century, representing a classic example of a Baroque rhetorical manual dedicated to Sarmatian funeral ceremonies. The work contains a practical collection of specimens of speeches, sermons and thanksgivings, which were an indispensable tool for the nobility during lavish funeral ceremonies (pompa funebris) in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
