These are supplements published to complete earlier, classic editions of Krasicki’s works (e.g., Dmochowski’s edition from 1803–1809)
As the full title from that era indicates, the texts it contains were “for the most part taken from the author’s own manuscripts left behind after his death.”
The 1830 series of Supplements included, among other things, encyclopedic materials, rare scholarly treatises, and minor literary works that did not fit into the main streams of poetic editions. Under the series title, Krasicki and the publishers included texts from his own encyclopedia titled *Zbiór potrzebniejszych wiadomości* (biographical, mythological, historical, and geographical entries) as well as essays and translations (including works by Plutarch and Lucian).
268, 242, 272, and 248 pages; four volumes bound into two books, with half-leather bindings.
