Mieczysław Treter: Fałat, "Fine Arts", 1925/6, after Jerzy Malinowski, "Julian Fałat, Warsaw 1985 One of the most famous and recognizable themes of Fałat's work was the winter landscape. Painted in the spirit of impressionist realism, with synthetic forms, framed asymmetrically - in accordance with Japanese aesthetics, painted with great lightness and sensitivity to light, using tones of blue, purple, pink. The artist, in his modesty, summed up this theme as follows: "Our snow is so wonderful that its impossible, ladies, to paint badly. He packs himself in your hand, ladies! Enough to see him!
